More than 15 countries are represented in this chapter covering an area almost equal in size to the entire United States. The European insurance and risk management sector employs almost 1 million people serving a population of over 400 million people spread across 47 countries.
Key insurance hubs in Europe are: London, Paris, Zurich, Munich, Milan, Amsterdam, Bucharest and Madrid. Luxembourg, Malta and Dublin are also important insurance/finance hubs and host many captive insurance companies.
The Europe Chapter holds two face-to-face meetings per year. Fall/Winter meeting in London and Spring/summer meeting in one of the other hub locations. The Chapter also organizes semi regular webinars and actively supports the Global Virtual Community (GVC) on their series of webinars.
